This Privacy Policy explains how Discover Indie Apps collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit the website, submit an app, purchase a service, subscribe to communications, or otherwise interact with us.
Where applicable, Enid Hadaj PF is the controller of personal information processed through Discover Indie Apps.

The service or placement requested

This information may be used in approved listings and promotional placements.
Payment Information
Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which may act as payment provider and Merchant of Record.
When you proceed from a submission form to checkout, limited information may be passed to Dodo Payments so that the payment can be associated with the correct submission. This may include:
Contact email
Submission identifier
Product or service selected
Other limited transaction-related information
Dodo Payments may separately collect information needed to process the transaction, including your name, billing information, payment method, country, tax information, and fraud-prevention or compliance information.
Discover Indie Apps does not receive or store complete credit- or debit-card details.

When you visit the website, hosting and analytics providers may process technical and usage information including:

2. How We Use Information

We do not sell your personal information to advertisers.
3. Submission Review and Publication
Submissions may be manually reviewed.
Submitting an app and completing payment does not guarantee approval. If a paid submission is not approved, payment will be handled according to our Refund Policy.
Publicly available App Store information may be displayed in approved app listings, free editorial features, and Spotlight placements.
The contact email submitted for administrative purposes is not intended to be displayed publicly unless you specifically authorize it.
4. Newsletter and Marketing Emails
Newsletter or marketing subscription is optional and separate from submitting an app or purchasing a service.
A submission or purchase does not automatically subscribe you to marketing emails unless you separately choose to receive them.
If you subscribe, we may collect your email address, consent status, and information needed to manage the subscription.
You may unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in an email or by contacting support@discoverindieapps.com.
5. Payment Processing
Dodo Payments may handle:
Payment processing
Billing
Tax calculation and collection
Fraud prevention
Payment compliance

Refund processing
Approved refunds are generally returned through the payment provider to the original payment method.

6. Third-Party Services
We use third-party services to operate Discover Indie Apps.
Framer
Framer is used to host and operate the website and may process technical or analytics information when you visit.

Tally
Tally may be used to collect app submissions, newsletter signups, and related information.
Dodo Payments
Dodo Payments processes payments and may receive limited submission information needed to associate a payment with the correct service.

GoatCounter
GoatCounter may be used to measure website activity and outbound App Store clicks and to produce aggregate website statistics.

Apple App Store
We may retrieve publicly available app information from the Apple App Store or related Apple services.
If you follow an App Store link, Apple processes information under its own privacy practices.
Each provider processes information according to its own terms, privacy practices, and service configuration.
7. Analytics
Discover Indie Apps may use Framer’s built-in analytics and GoatCounter to understand website activity.
Depending on the provider and enabled settings, analytics may include:
Page views and visitor counts
General traffic trends
Pages visited
Referring websites
Browser and operating-system information
Device or screen information
Approximate geographic location
Website interactions
Outbound App Store clicks
We may use this information to improve the website, understand audience growth, evaluate listing or placement activity, and detect unusual or abusive behavior.
GoatCounter Processing
GoatCounter provides aggregate website statistics. It may process IP addresses and browser information to derive statistics and distinguish repeat visits where session measurement is enabled.
According to GoatCounter’s documentation, temporary session-matching information may be held in memory for up to eight hours. Raw IP addresses and full browser User-Agent headers are not stored in its analytics database.
Public Statistics
We may publicly or privately share aggregate figures such as total website traffic or App Store click counts.
These figures are approximate, may include repeat activity, and do not necessarily represent unique people, confirmed downloads, or purchases.
8. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Discover Indie Apps does not currently use non-essential advertising or behavioral-tracking cookies directly.
Framer’s built-in analytics and GoatCounter’s standard website tracker may operate without analytics cookies or persistent browser storage.
Third-party services such as Tally and Dodo Payments may use cookies or similar technologies for:
Form functionality
Security
Fraud and abuse prevention
Session management
Checkout functionality
Payment processing
If we introduce non-essential advertising, retargeting, or behavioral-tracking technologies, this Privacy Policy will be updated and consent will be requested where required.

Publicly available app information may remain displayed while an app remains listed.
Aggregate information that does not identify an individual may be retained for longer to understand historical trends.

Third-party providers may process information in countries other than your country of residence.
Where applicable, providers may use contractual, organizational, or legal safeguards for international processing.

We take reasonable organizational and technical steps to protect information handled through Discover Indie Apps.
However, no website, internet transmission, payment system, or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Payment-card information is processed by the payment provider and is not directly stored by Discover Indie Apps.

If you own or represent an app displayed on Discover Indie Apps and believe its information is incorrect, unauthorized, outdated, or should be removed, contact support@discoverindieapps.com.
Include enough information for us to identify the relevant app or submission. We may request reasonable evidence of your authority before making certain changes.
16. Children
Discover Indie Apps is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children who are not legally permitted to use or purchase the service independently.
If you believe a child has improperly provided personal information, contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, remove it.
17. External Links
Discover Indie Apps contains links to external services, including App Store pages, payment pages, forms, and developer websites.
We are not responsible for the privacy, security, content, or practices of third-party websites or apps.
Your use of an external service is subject to that service’s own terms and privacy practices.
18. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the service or its legal, technical, or operational requirements change.
The effective date will be updated when changes are published. Material changes may also be communicated through the website where appropriate.
